Personal loans in Mason City, IL

Before you borrow in Mason City, Illinois, it helps to know the ground rules. How much a lender in Illinois can charge is governed by state statute and supervised by a state regulator. Because the rules are set at state level, the same loan amount can cost different amounts depending on where you live. Look at the APR rather than the interest rate, because the APR folds in most of the fees. Nothing on this page is a loan offer, and no figure here is a quote.

Mason City falls under Illinois's consumer lending regulator.

No loan shall be made to a consumer who has an outstanding balance on two payday loans, except that, for a period of 12 months after March 21, 2011 (the effective date of Public Act 96-936), consumers with an existing CILA loan may be issued an installment loan issued under this Act from the company from which their CILA loan was issued; maximum loan term: (a) Without affecting the right of a consumer to prepay at any time without cost or penalty, no payday loan may have a minimum term of less than 13 days. How much can I borrow in Mason City?

Loan amounts depend on the lender and your income and credit profile rather than on the city. Use the calculators above to see what a given amount and term would cost you each month.

How long does a personal loan take in Mason City?

Timelines vary by lender. Some pre-qualify in minutes and fund within a day or two; others take longer because they verify income and employment. A soft pre-qualification does not commit you to anything.
